Pre-nursery and nursery students enjoyed celebrating Coconut Week, exploring the many uses and benefits of this versatile fruit. Through engaging activities and interactive sessions, the young learners had a delightful experience discovering the world of coconuts.
Students of Grades 2, 3, and 4 lit up the stage with their impressive performances at the Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita. With creativity and humor, they delivered captivating verses that showcased their confidence and love for expression. The event was filled with energy and left a lasting impact on the audience, marking it as a memorable success.
On October 8, 2024, we participated in the CBSE Skill Expo and Guidance Festival, hosting interactive workshops to enhance students' communication, decision-making, and innovation skills. The event offered career guidance and valuable networking with industry experts, reflecting our commitment to equipping students for success in a dynamic professional landscape.
The Apparel Fiesta, held on 16th October 2024, was a vibrant showcase of creativity and talent by our young Xaverians. The event featured innovative Paper Clothing, a nostalgic Retro Theme, and futuristic Hi-tech Dresses of 2050, highlighting the students' imaginative flair. With captivating ramp walks and energetic dance performances, the stage came alive, offering participants an incredible platform to express themselves and embrace their creativity.
The Youth Parliament is a platform for young individuals to engage in political discussions, address social issues, and propose policies for change. It provides a hands-on experience of the legislative process while fostering skills in public speaking, debate, and teamwork. Participants represent their communities, share diverse perspectives, and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and progressive future.
Our Pre-Nursery and Nursery students participated in a Yoga Day activity featuring simple poses like Mountain, Tree, and Butterfly. Guided by storytelling and calming music, the session introduced mindfulness and healthy habits to our young learners. This engaging activity aimed to nurture a sense of wellness and encourage a balanced lifestyle from an early age.
St.Xavier High School organized an Industry Visit to Coca-Cola Happiness Factory, Moon Beverages Ltd. Greater Noida on 5th August,2024. During the visit, students were provided with a comprehensive understanding of Coca-Cola's production and operation processes. It was followed by a discussion where students raised several queries. Students were taken inside the plant to understand the process and to see the entire manufacturing set up in operational mode. The session was full of knowledge and learning, giving students an in-depth insight into beverages being manufactured and marketed.
Our school organised an educational field trip to National Gandhi Museum located at New Delhi for the students of grade IV & V on 30 th November 2023.
The day was celebrated by the students of Grade IX presenting a short skit on the life and achievements of Major Dhyan Chand during the morning Assembly.
This is a very special day in the school calendar. Invites were sent to all Grandparents of Grades Nursery and KG and they accepted and turned up in large numbers. Many activities and interactive sessions were planned
The Inter House Matches were initiated in the month of October. Trials for the teams were conducted and the House Teams were formed. Matches were played for Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis and Football.
The school invited a renowned author Ms. Namrata Jain for a Book Reading Session during its Library Week. She has written a trilogy based on the ‘dohas’ of Kabir, Tulsidas and Rahim. The session was thoroughly enjoyed by the young students who were given the chance of interacting with the author.
To hone the scientific temperament of our students and to initiate them into STEM, the students were asked to perform experiments of their choice to celebrate the Science Day. They chose and performed the experiments before the class and described the aim and objective along with the Learning Outcomes of the experiment. It was an excellent hands on learning experience for all students from Grade VI-VIII.
The students of Grades I-II participated in the Apparel Fiesta. They were given a choice of three themes they could pick from. It was a wonderful experience for both teachers and students.
The students of Grade II were taught the poem on a butterfly in a very interesting way. They were asked to bring ‘dupattas from home with which the teachers helped them make their wings. They were taken to the garden and the poem was taught sitting in the midst of Nature.
Teachers participated actively in the Teaching Aids Competition in which they created innovative teaching aids to enhance their teaching- learning experience during their classes. All of them went out of their way to bring forth new ideas. Kudos to our wonderful teachers!
