ABOUT Saint Xavier
Saint Francis Xavier, was a Catholic Missionary and Saint who was a co-founder of the Society of Jesus. Born in Javier in Spain, he was a companion of
Ignatius of Loyola and one of the first seven Jesuits who took vows of poverty and chastity at Paris in 1534. Francis Xavier devoted much of his life to
missions in Asia. He anticipated that the schools he planned would keep them constant in the faith.
Saint Xavier upheld that sacrifice is leaving yourself behind at times for a greater good, the good of prayer, the good of helping someone in need, the good of
just listening to another. The greatest gift we have is our time. Francis Xavier gave his to others.
